“Discovering Wessex" has developed from the very popular "Discovering Dorset" group. It covers places within a 50-mile radius of Wimborne.

Small groups research and present information at the Town Hall about villages, small towns, local industries or specific sites; and organise a visit the following week whatever the weather.

The group alternates at the Town Hall with "Out and About in Wessex".

The ability to walk up gradients and steps is essential for some of the visits.
